Good day, it’s your cultural ambassador here to hip you to an artist who deserves your ear. Are you familiar with Rashaan Patterson? If not please take the time to check out his music. Rashaan began his career on television in the ’80’s where he played “The Kid” on the show “Kids Inc.” He was once a back up singer for Brandy and Tevin Campbell but officially began his solo career in 1997 with the release of his self titled debut album. Since then Rashaan Patterson has released four albums and he will be in Philadelphia today to celebrate the release of his latest CD “Bluephoria.”
Rashaan Patterson is a very gifted singer with a unique sound. Take a minute after work and go check him out at The Sound Of Market in Center City; he will be there shaking hands and signing CDs. I have included a clip of Rashaan singing backstage with Ledisi just to give you and idea of what the brother is working with!
